Your Questions Answered

1. What makes my company better than other tutoring services?

I am a bilingual certified Ontario teacher (OCT) and hold PH. in chemistry. I also have over 20 years of teaching experience in Ottawa (private and public systems). Therefore, I know the math, science, chemistry, and French Ontario curriculums.
I offer math, chemistry, science, and French tutoring tailored to each student's needs and learning styles. At the same time, I help students understand the "Why" and the "How" of the math, science, and chemistry concepts.
The pricing is affordable compared to other companies. On top of the scheduled sessions, students and their parents have free access to the recorded lessons and progress updates. Students can get their questions answered between sessions. Finally, the majority of my students improved their grades and test scores by up to
95%

2.  Is tutoring effective?

From my teaching and tutoring experience, tutoring can be highly effective in helping students improve their understanding and grades in math, chemistry, and French. However, the effectiveness of tutoring will depend on several factors, including the student's motivation, communication with teachers and tutors, the tutor's teaching style, and the frequency of tutoring sessions.

3. What are the benefits of online tutoring?

The benefits of online tutoring include convenience and flexibility.  Students can receive tutoring from the comfort of their own homes and can schedule sessions at a time that works best for them.

4. What platform do you use for online tutoring?

I use the platform called " lesson space." This platform allows the same interaction as in-person tutoring. Each student has their own link to access their space. Click Here to learn more.

5. How can my child get started?

First, please book a free consultation session or email me to schedule a meeting. After the meeting, if you decide to proceed, I will assist you with the payment process. Once the payment is confirmed, the class(es) is (are) booked, and the information will be emailed to you. Next, you or your child sign up on www.mathchemistryfrenchtutoring.com  through the student portal; the signing up will allow the student and parents to access resources and updates on student progress.

6. What is the difference between group tutoring and one-to-one sessions?

Group tutoring provides a more collaborative and social environment, allowing students to learn from each other and build relationships. It allows for multiple perspectives and discussions among the students. It helps students with knowledge gaps to catch up on missing concepts, and for others to go beyond their curriculum.
In a one-to-one session, the content can be tailored specifically to the individual student's needs and learning pace but may lack the social aspect and diverse perspectives of a group setting.
Ultimately, the choice between group tutoring and one-to-one sessions depends on the individual student's needs, learning style, and personal preferences.
